How do I know if you received my request?
Once your online request is made, you’ll see a page appear with a confirmation number. You’ll also receive a confirmation receipt by e-mail. Both mean that we’ve received your request. Please note down the confirmation number in case you need to correct your original request. If you need to make a correction, please revisit the website — but not by phone as we require a written record.
How do I make a correction?
It’s simple to make a change: visit our website at www.premier.gov.on.ca/certificates, then fill in your e-mail address and confirmation number. Your original request will appear, and you can make the required change. Once everything is complete, you’ll receive a new confirmation number. Again, please note it down.
Who should I contact to follow up my request?
It takes 15 business days to process your request for a certificate from the Premier. If you haven’t received your certificate within that time, please call us at 416-325-3777. And if you made your original request through your MPP’s office, you should contact them first to follow up.
My request doesn’t seem to fall under the categories on the website. What should I do?
If your request doesn’t match the categories listed, you can submit it as a message request for review by the Premier’s staff. To do this, just click the words special greeting or message on our website at www.premier.gov.on.ca/certificates.
